Iva Međugorac

I’m a Research Assistant at the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, where I focus on oceanography, particularly sea-level extremes in the Adriatic, with a special interest in storm surges.

Currently, I’m based in Slovenia as a SMASH MSCA postdoc fellow at the University of Nova Gorica and ARSO, working on developing a deep-learning-based warning system for high-frequency sea-level extremes.

When I’m not delving into sea-level data, you’ll likely find me gardening, experimenting in the kitchen, or hiking.
