Domagoj Dolički

I am currently a trainee weather forecaster at the Croatian Meteorological and
Hydrological Service, where I am developing my skills in understanding and forecasting
atmospheric conditions.

My interest in meteorology started in high school, where I was drawn to the mixture of
mathematics and physical processes that determine the weather. I find it fascinating to learn about the atmosphere, its (un)predictability and its sometimes-unforgiving power. For my master’s thesis, I studied convection in Croatia during the cold part of the year.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, whether it’s playing board games, joining a pub quiz or simply relaxing together. I also like to lose myself in a good book, watch an exciting movie to unwind, or stay active by playing pickleball.
