His record on this date reads \u201cflood, ebb, waterspout, wind, rain\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>During the event, a uniform field of surface pressure (1010-1020 hPa), complemented by weak surface winds, was present over most of Europe. At the 850 hPa height, colder air mass was advancing from the northeast Atlantic towards the western Mediterranean. Over the Adriatic Sea, temperature field at the 850 hPa height was relatively uniform. At the mid-troposphere height, a trough was located over the western Mediterranean and the Adriatic Sea &#8211; consequently, relatively strong southwesterly winds were blowing over the central Adriatic.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(1) Vela Luka, 21 July 1993 Figure 1.
