Široka Bay on the island of Ist (Adriatic Sea, Croatia) was hit by a strong and destructive meteotsunami.

Interestingly, Bonifacio on Corsica Island was hit by a meteotsunami on the same day pointing to a possible Mediterranean meteotsunami chain. 

The SHExtreme project PI Jadranka Šepić visited Ist island to do a post-metetosunami survey and to interview residents.
