Postdoctoral research position in Computational Many-Body Physics (closed)

A Postdoctoral position is offered to a motivated candidate with suitable background at the University of Split, Faculty of Science, Croatia (PI: Dr. Leandra Vranješ Markić)).

The position will be associated with a recently funded project from The Croatian Science Foundation “Exploring quantum fluctuations in cold atom systems (EQUAFLU)“.

Description:

The candidate tasks will be the development and the application of Quantum Monte Carlo methods to the study of cold atoms in optical lattices. Postdoc will work within the international project team. Short mobilities to Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya and Johannes Kepler University of Linz are funded by the project.

The candidate should have:

• Ph.D. in Physics
• good communication skills (oral and written).

Candidate with experience in computational many-body physics will be preferred.
